When three former players of Cazzie Russell got together on a creative project in Colorado and started to reminisce about their coach the person, the basketball legend, and the change agent he was in their lives. They asked the question why hasn't anyone told this man's story.

With Walt Frazier calling "Cazzie Russell the greatest shooter he has ever seen", "The house that Cazzie built" explores the story of basketball legend Cazzie Russell in his journey from "Altgeld Gardens to Madison Square Gardens" and the legacy beyond the hardwood that he has built. Cazzie Russell was fortunate to change his life and the lives of others through playing a game he loves. This documentary explores the "houses" he built on and off of the court.
